KRISTINA TEX

Quality & Production

From fiber preparation to yarns ready for supply, quality control accompanies every stage of production at Kristina Tex.

01 — Production stages

The production sequence

Five main stages, with careful attention to preparation, yarn uniformity and consistent performance.

  1. 01Fiber preparation
  2. 02Ring spinning
  3. 03Winding & yarn inspection
  4. 04Plying & twisting
  5. 05Steaming
Fiber preparation
01

Fiber preparation

Using advanced Italian preparation technology, fibers undergo precise cutting, re-cutting and successive drawing stages. This achieves a high level of homogeneity and regularity before spinning, resulting in uniform yarn with consistent performance and high quality.

Ring spinning
02

Ring spinning

Spinning takes place on German Zinser 451 machines using Ring Spinning technology. Fibers undergo precise drafting and twisting under continuous automatic control of operating parameters. This technology gives the yarn high uniformity and consistent count and twist, with a balanced combination of strength and softness, producing acrylic yarns with consistent quality and excellent performance in subsequent manufacturing stages.

Winding & yarn inspection

03

Winding & yarn inspection

Yarn quality is further ensured through winding and inspection on advanced Italian Savio machines. Electronic monitoring during winding detects and precisely removes defects and irregularities. This stage produces clean, uniform yarn with regular winding and controlled package density, preserving consistent quality and ensuring optimum performance.

Plying & twisting
04

Plying & twisting

Yarns undergo a carefully controlled twisting process in which two or more strands are combined according to specified twist direction and number of turns, achieving an optimum balance in the yarn structure. This gives the yarn greater strength, uniformity and stability.

Steaming
05

Steaming

Using advanced Italian steaming technology, yarns undergo precise heat treatment that activates the High Bulk (HB) property. Accurate control of temperature and treatment time achieves uniform shrinkage and optimum structural stability. The result is acrylic yarn with greater volume and fullness, while retaining light weight, a soft handle and excellent performance in knitting and weaving applications.
